The chat room is provided free of charge, so that visitors might exchange information with others in real time. Each user of the chat room is expected to register personal information in order to be an ongoing user. That information is stored and maintained in a secure way. As with any community, diverse views and needs are important considerations that contribute to making the experience as pleasant as possible to all involved. Anyone found interfering with the ongoing attempts by DivorceRecoverySuite.com to maintain decorum and order will be removed. You understand and agree that should we determine that behavior violating this policy has occurred, we will act to remove the offenders, which may include being banned, reported to the offender’s ISP, or law enforcement. The chat room is advertised as monitored. That means that one or more monitors (or Admins) will oversee the chat room so that order is maintained. Those monitors may or may not be obvious to you, and DivorceRecoverySuite.com reserves the right to maintain their anonymity. Monitors may be individuals with no formal ties to DivorceRecoverySuite.com other than friendly users, they may be staff, or they may be owners of the site. Usage of the Community Boards and the chat room on this site will be maintained by username and password, selected by you. Protect them and do not give them to others. Anyone found using another’s identity information, whether received by permission or otherwise, may be refused usage (including a ban) to this website. You understand that any information transmitted to you from the chat room, authors, vendors, or any other content not originating from DivorceRecoverySuite.com owners or staff is the sole responsibility of the person or entity it originated from. DivorceRecoverySuite.com cannot control the behavior of others. You understand that by using the interactive portions of this site that offensive, obscene, indecent or threatening content may be unavoidable for a time. It is the nature of the Internet. DivorceRecoverySuite.com will do what it can to prevent the individuals from interrupting the forums, the chat room, or any other aspect of this site. That prevention can include a temporary ban, a permanent ban, and/or identifying offending users and notifying their ISPs and any appropriate law enforcement agency. DivorceRecoverySuite.com is a privately owned entity. As such, it determines what conduct within its site it considers appropriate, and will determine what is in the best interest of itself and its users within the confines of federal and local law. You agree to not use the website or any portion of the site to:

• Upload or transmit any content that is unlawful to do so.
• Impersonate any individual.
• Infringe on any copyright, trademark or patent or any proprietary information by uploading any content you are not legally authorized to disseminate.
• Upload or transmit any content that is or can be electronically injurious to DivorceRecoverySuite.com, its host server, or its member users.
• Disrupt the regular flow of conversation in the chat room by flooding the chat screen with content.
• Attempt to disrupt any service at DivorceRecoverySuite.com, its host server, or its member users in any way.
• Harass or stalk anyone using DivorceRecoverySuite.com services. This can include sending repeated private messages or emails.
• Flame the chat or Community Boards with outrageous comments designed to irritate users. Statements about politics, religion or gender-baiting are often used by internet trolls to accomplish this.
• Acquire multiple nicknames for the purpose of deceiving users.
• Use your selected user name that in any way prevents other users from placing you on ignore if they so choose.
• Defame, harass, abuse, slander, libel, threaten, provoke, invade another’s privacy, or post racial or ethnically offensive content.

DivorceRecoverySuite.com aims to make its chat as non-threatening and safe as possible. That goal will require, from time to time, prevention of individuals from continued use of the chat and/or other services. DivorceRecoverySuite.com reserves the right to make decisions on refusal of its services solely on its own discretion. Public forum messages and chat room users can and will be removed by staff if posts are deemed inappropriate and/or in poor taste. Unfortunately, internet trolls are a way of life for those that choose to use the world wide web. This site defines a troll as someone who delights in sowing discord on the internet. A troll attempts to initiate arguments and upset people, often by flaming. For some reason, they don’t “get it” that they are hurting others. To them, other users aren’t quite human, but rather some kind of digital abstraction. They often state: “It’s only a chat room”. From this basis, they feel no sorrow or remorse for the upset they cause. Trolls do not respond to criticism. Negotiation isn’t possible as they feel they are not bound by the ordinary rules of courtesy and social responsibility. They delight in throwing a bomb into the center of the room, and watching how it affects everyone. Should you encounter a troll, please do not respond. Copies of the chat are maintained on the server, and can be reviewed. The results of reviews will not be reported. Should a review result in an expulsion of the offender, it will not be announced.
